05 / Common questions

Questions parents ask.

If yours isn't here, email admin@theperformanceco.com.au and we'll get back the same day.

Q.01 Can my child try a class before we commit?
Yes. First trial is free, no obligation. Book through the form or email the studio. We'll match the class to your kid, not the other way around.
Q.02 What if we miss a class?
You can book a make-up in a comparable class within the same term. Just email the studio with the date you missed and we'll find a fit.
Q.03 How do withdrawals work?
Withdraw before week 3 of a term for a refund of unused weeks. After that, fees stand. Payment plans available on request.
Q.04 What does the costume cost?
An annual costume levy covers it. Paid in term 1, one figure per student per year. Recital tickets are separate and listed when bookings open.
Q.05 Can I watch my child?
Parent viewing week is the second-last week of each term. You're welcome in the studio for the full class. Same rules as the kids, phones off.
Q.06 What if my 3-year-old isn't ready?
The trial answers that. If they're not, we'll tell you straight, and we'll suggest when to come back. No pressure to enrol from the trial.
Q.07 Do you have a performance team?
Yes. Auditions for the youth crew run each February. Open to enrolled students from age 14. The crew is the feeder for our professional agency work. See the Crews page.
